FX for our last few June POAS ladies, @T.H.O.U., @luckypenny and @ALMOSTMRSG!
@luckypenny: you're totally not out yet!
@LovelyPlum: hope you're feeling better today
@LindsayInNY: boo, sorry girl
@runsyellowlites: LOVE how the printable turned out, and even more that you included the + test with it!

@LindsayInNY: gah that sucks, was hoping this was going to be your month!

@SweetMamaM: I know Now I'm wondering to Cheri's "prediction" for May means something... Ahh, I'm crazy, LOL!
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@Sprite: thanks!
I'm still hanging in with no AF. I think I will test again in the morning but I'm fairly confident it will still be negative.

@LindsayInNY: if it's any consolation mine was out by a month and I think Mrs. Castro's was too. This baby wasn't conceived in July, we didn't find out in July and it better not be born in July!

@SweetMamaM: "and it better not be born in July! " <-- haha! I made my annual exam for early September so hopefully (FX!) that turns into a first post-BFP appointment!!

So we aren't really going to be doing anything this month because I have been sick, but I wanted to test out an OPK anyway to get a feel for them for next month. This is what I got. I think the line needs to be a bit darker, do you ladies agree? I'm new to this so I need help!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Bao: I would say veryclose but wait for the next OPK to really tell. It's possible this could be almost at peak but not quite and the next test time could miss it.

@Bao: that looks pretty good to my. I would say in the next day or so you're going to O.

Thanks, ladies. I'm feeling much better today. Nothing a bit of Motrin, a lot of water, sleep, and an iron supplement can't fix. Onward to July

Ok late to join this party, my period is due July 2.... and I will be holding off POAS as long as humanly possible. Is there a July board already or can I just hide here?
coconut / 8305 posts
@anonysquire: I don't think it's been started yet... trying to hold out for the rest of the June ladies so the board doesn't lose steam.
I say you can hide here!!!!! fx for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bananas / 9229 posts
@anonysquire: Someone was planning on starting the July thread tomorrow since it's post-a-thon day! Can't wait to see you there

Oh... if anyone has come insight on this it would be healpful. Having EWCM and then a week later having it again? Normal or not normal?
nectarine / 2936 posts
@anonysquire: That happens to me every month. I think it's normal for some people. At least, I hope so!
coconut / 8305 posts
@anonysquire: I had that! I even had a positive opk during the first set.... I'm pretty sure I O'd during the second set though!
Lemme go snag my chart for ya!
From my understanding you can rev up to O but then not... You can "rev up" multiple times in one cycle! (Dumb confusing body). Lol

Long winded question: I am supposed to O probably this Sunday or Monday. With a 12 day LP, I should get my period around July 13. I am scheduled for a laparoscopic surgery (for endo) on July 16. It is specifically timed at this point in my cycle so the doctor can make sure I'm not pregnant before preceding (and well before the next month's ovulation). If I haven't gotten a positive test or my period before the surgery, they will do a preg test/postpone the surgery. The doctor said it was ok to TTC this month, but now DH is nervous because it is so close to the surgery. I think my chances of getting pregnant are slim this month anyway, but I hate not to try. What do y'all think?
eggplant / 11408 posts
@mrs. 64: if you're pregnant, you'll probably know before AF is supposed to show up, so that gives you a little bit bigger of a window. I understand his concern, but I'd say go for it, if you're comfortable with it.
nectarine / 2527 posts
@mrs. 64: I say go for it you'll know if you get a bfp before surgery so why not

I don't want to take the thunder away from late June POAS, but I did just put up the July POAS board! Come say hi there
But don't worry, I'll still be hanging out here, too!
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@mrs. 64: I would try. I think they would give you a test before going in. P
nectarine / 2936 posts
@LovelyPlum: @Honeygold89: @T.H.O.U.: Thanks guys. I agree. I think DH will feel better once I explain the logistics to him better and how they won't operate if I might be pregnant. Plus, if I do get pregnant then no surgery!!
persimmon / 1388 posts
@LovelyPlum: Thanks for starting the new thread! I'll still stick around to update the list this weekend before June is over!
eggplant / 11408 posts
@mrs. 64: I think he will. Maybe you could say that this is last step to see if you need surgery-if you get pregnant, then no. If you dont, then yes.
kiwi / 693 posts
@LovelyPlum: Thanks for starting the July board!
@mrs. 64: I agree with the others, you should know before if AF is due a few days before you go in. FX you get a BFP and don't need the surgery!
@anonysquire: I've had that happen for the past 4 cycles that I've been charting. 2/4 times I've also gotten multiple +OPKs or peak days on the CBEF monitor around a week apart. Like @runsyellowlites says, it's likely your body gearing up to O and then not, so it tries again. Unfortunately for me, based on my temps, the second gear up has also been unsuccessful. This past cycle I was supposed to go in for a Progesterone test 7DPO, but since we used my 2nd O symptoms (+OPK and EWCM), it was too late, I got AF 5 days past suspected O. This cycle I'm doing the Progesterone test on CD22 regardless of O signs, since my doctor says it's the best way, and her first step, in determining if I'm actually O'ing or not. Hopefully your second gear up to O is more successful than mine!

Dying to test today but I only have one left. AF is due Monday. Should i just wait??
coconut / 8305 posts
@luckypenny: I'm a bad influence so I'm just gonna peak around the corner & say fx for you!
clementine / 811 posts
@Sprite: @runsyellowlites: so do you do OPKs every time your notice EWCM in case you have more than one surge? Or just around when you 'think' you normally O?
This is only going to be my second month using them. I just used them the two days around when FF thought I would prob O. And then only in the morning w FMU. Maybe I need to use them more often? I was already planning on twice a day after reading PPs on this thread.
