    @clover: GL! mine was lighter than that from 8-12dpo, I went in for a blood test right away and it was a positive. 9 weeks along now

    @travellingbee: Glad to hear you had a good time! I could use a few days in Mexico right now

    @clover: That looks ok for 12dpo to me. It's still before a missed period so I wouldn't expect it to be too dark.

    @AprilFool and @northstar: what a bummer! Fingers crossed for December babies for us.

    @clover: First of all, hugs about the clear blue digital test, that must have been hard to see. They have a higher threshold than the FRER. My first BFP back in September was at 12dpo on a FRER, and it was much fainter than that. I did end up miscarrying at 6w2d, but my HCG numbers were pretty good until the five week mark. So basically, I understand the concern but I will say at least your line was darker than mine was! and I had a decent start. Maybe you could call your doctor and get a blood test? They're pretty easy and cheap with insurance.

    @babycanuck: @peaches1038: @wrkbrk: @BandDmommy: @AprilFool: Thank you ladies!!!

    @DesertDreams88: Thanks for sharing My insurance changed at the beginning of the year and I have to switch to a new OBGYN. I actually have an appt for my annual in a month which would be my first time meeting her. If things are uncertain in the next couple days I'll call the office to see what they suggest.

    @clover: As long as the test is getting darker, you're good.

    @clover: Sorry you are going through this stress, definitely been there. Do you have a side by side of both tests? Sometimes it looks darker when you compare them right next to each other. Wishing you all the best!

  11. BandDmommy

    pomelo / 5660 posts

    @clover: I went through something similar last month. My tests got only slightly darker and then I miscarried. Hope that isn't the case for you.

    @NorthStar: and others I took my first OPK this morning and it looks damn close to positive! On CD 10?!
    Can Clomid make you ovulate sooner?

    ETA: I'm noticing online that clomid can cause a false positive OPK if taken within 3 days of finishing the doses. I finished yesterday but my RE told me to start OPKs on day 10. Hmmm... that seems silly. I wonder how I would know if it is real or just a false positive from the clomid....?

    pear / 1881 posts

    @travellingbee: oh wow! I've never heard of false positives, but yet again, haven't researched that specifically. I did ovulate a few days early on letrozole. That seems awfully early, though. When do you typically ovulate?

  14. travellingbee

    hostess / papaya / 10219 posts

    @NorthStar: cd14. I'm going in for a scan today and they'll do a blood test if necessary. I hope I'm not Oing yet as I don't think they'd be big enough yet!

    @travellingbee: When my doctor talked to me about trying Clomid next cycle, she said it would probably make me ovulate earlier.

    @travellingbee those are some great lines. Even if it has the possibility of a false positive maybe get busy anyway and keep testing!

    @clover fingered crossed for you.

    So yesterday I tried to surprise DH when he got home from work by putting on something sexy and waiting or him in the room and the first thing he said was wow followed by you must be ovulating hahaha It was so funny but I wasn't yet Im just entering my fertile week

    @Honeygold89: Ha, anytime I initiate sex D assumes i'm ovulating

    Sitting pretty at 4DPO. I hate this first week of the TWW...too early to really symptom spot, and testing day seems SO far away!

    @lovehoneybee: I hear ya!! I'm 3 DPO here and can't believe I have to wait almost a WHOLE week to test.

    I went in for an ultrasound to check on my follicles and I currently have 3-4 follicles sized 14, 11 and 9ish mm. They did bloodwork to make sure I wasn't actually surging and I will hear back about that in the next couple of hours.

  22. DesertDreams88

    grapefruit / 4361 posts

    @HoneyGold89: haha I get the same reaction if I try that

    @travellingbee: yay for follicles! I did a bit of research and it seems like that's a good number and good sizes too for CD10

    Okay - I have a transfer tentatively booked for next Tuesday 17th... so I guess I'll be hoping and praying we get to pee on a stick from March 24th, about a week after our transfer.
