Are there anything that China doesn't make????

We are now using the EasyLunchboxes (http://www.amazon.com/EasyLunchboxes-3-compartment-Containers-BPA-Free-Easy-Open/dp/B004UIRUJ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1362424017&sr=8-1&keywords=EasyLunchboxes) for packing LO's lunch at daycare. While I love the bento style with so many compartments, it is so simple, easy, convenient, BPA free, microwave safe and dish washer safe and all, it is made in China.

And when I find something that is not made in China, it didn't say it is BPA...etc. free.

I am not trying to be difficult but when it comes to things that touches food, I am really trying to use things that are NOT made in China. However there seems to be no good options out there! I know there was this laptop lunchbox (http://www.reuseit.com/store/laptop-lunch-bento-p-3997.html?slave_id=3990&gclid=CIvOnqnh47UCFQODnQodrHsAZw) that is made in USA, but I do not like the design at all. I don't like how there are so many components it is just a nightmare to wash every day.

LO's daycare doesn't accept glass containers, so that option is also out of the door...

Are there any good bento boxes out there that are NOT made in China, and are BPA, PVC, and phthalates free, and microwaveable and dishwasher-safe at the same time, that you'd recommend?

ETA: Just in case you think I am being offensive... I am Chinese myself. haha. Yes. I don't trust my own kind especially when we read 100 times more horrible news than just China-imported poisonous pet food a few years ago.
