@ms.janedoe: Sometimes DH is more committed than I am, LOL! He's insistent that I continue with the OPK. And, after seeing your chart, it can't hurt! My CM has changed lately, not sure if that means anything. I think we'll pick back up on the EOD BD since we're both feeling better now. FX!

@LindsayInNYC: Your DH and mine MUST be related, lol. Mine drives me absolutely crazy with the symptom spotting. I swear he would POAS for me if he could!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Beetones: He's crazy! Won't let me drink unless AF is in town, asks about what's safe to eat, etc. It's cute but annoying sometimes, LOL!

Just found out that a co-worker is 15 weeks pregnant and due in August. We're actively TTC too... This could make for one hectic time at work!
clementine / 770 posts
@LindsayInNYC: Does your company have a good maternity leave plan/option?
I get the option to work from home at that time if i want, but i'm not sure if that would work for me...
bananas / 9229 posts
@Beetones: Yeah, pretty decent. We get partial paid leave for 12 weeks - either 2/3 or 1/2 pay, depending on how long you've been with the company. And vacation time as well. This co-worker works with the same client I do though so it'll be hectic if we both need to be out around the same time!

Im jumping on board. Cycle 12 We timed things late so I'm not to hopeful but I spotted last night. Maybe implantation?!? Never had that before. Today is CD 18 DPO 6 so I should poas on March 1st. I will do my best to wait its only 8 days, I can wait 8 days...

@Sugar.Biscuit: Welcome, Welcome. I updated the list, can't wait to see your bfp!

@Beetones: thank you! I have my fingers crossed for everyone this month. It will be a good month no matter what

I can't imagine what my response to my bfp might be, but i shall make do with this image for a while...

Put me down for March 16...this will be a bitter sweet cycle, I will be taking the next few cycles off after this one...and had my pregnancy continued i would have had a sweet baby in my arms at the beginning of April...

@Beetones: HAHA i feel that will be the reaction for most of us on this board!
clementine / 770 posts
@MrsCastro: Laughter or at least a smile was what i was hoping for.
I not sure i told you guys this, but that one cycle where you and i had the same POAS date i got a bfp too, but it ended up being a chemical :-(, so i guess i understand your pain. Anyways, i've got all my fingers crossed for you this cycle, Let's GOOOO!!!

if all goes well I'll be POAS sometime around the 27th-29th of March
clementine / 770 posts
@MrsCastro: Actually, I hate to say this, but you had a harder time being that you got to bond with your baby. but like i said, all that is history now, we just have to look to the future with hope for better stuff right?
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@Beetones: @LindsayInNYC: My DH is the same way! every time i have the slightest symptom, he's like "take a test!" and he eyes me when i want to drink, lol. meanwhile every time we make plans for a few months in the future, he's like "and you'll be __ months pregnant!" it kinda makes me sad, because he's so excited and most likely i won't even be pregnant yet. but so cute that they are all so into it
clementine / 770 posts
@babycanuck: I put you down to POAS on my Birthday (The 28th, cos its between both dates), yayyyyy....Now i know you're definitely getting your bfp this month
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@MrsCastro: i hope you have a sweet BFP by april i'm so sorry for your loss, and hope that this time isn't too hard on you.
pomegranate / 3105 posts
I haven't read that far into my what to expect and take charge of your fertility to even know when to test lol I know I'm due for Aunt Flo to visit on the 27th and I'm super regular

@esqbee: thank you for the well wishes...i thought i would be (woman's dictionary) fine...but we have an invitation to a baby shower for a sweet baby that is due the same time i would have been due, and it is eating at me...

@LindsayInNYC: I'm in a similar situation. A coworker is due in mid-June, and we're a very small team running things here. With one year of mat leave, there could be a lot of overlap.
An older coworker has been in a panic about how the rest of us are of childbearing age, to the point that she mentioned it to the manager, who then mentioned it to me. Yikes! Fishing much? I hope my poker face and evasive maneuvers were successful.
clementine / 770 posts
@esqbee: You too!!! LOL, i'm not sure if i should be amused or irritated when my DH gets in that zone.
bananas / 9229 posts
@Lately: Any other co-worker would be different but about 2/3 of her caseload is for the same client that I exclusively work on. The other 1/3 is with another partner. Assuming she takes typical leave, she'll be out 12 weeks. So, if I'm lucky this cycle, we might barely overlap or just miss it (aka she comes back as I go out). This sounds so petty but she's a toothpick and will probably be tiny through her pregnancy. And I fear that I'll end up a whale and be compared to her. (I'm lame...)
cherry / 131 posts
@LindsayInNYC: Heh, not lame at all. Do you watch The Office? Reminds me of when Pam and Angela were both pregnant at the same time.
I'm so ready to have kids already, I've told DH that I'm going to be a great big, happy, roly poly pregnant woman. (He didn't believe me.) I'm hoping I will be able to let go of body image issues and relish my girth.
bananas / 9229 posts
@Lately: I don't watch it but I can imagine it's similar! I'm hoping I'm all belly but who knows... This girl is SO tiny though, she'll have to be!
pomegranate / 3105 posts
I have no idea what's going to happen with work when I get prego. They are insanely dependant on me for so many things, and we get a year off here for mat/pat leave. I told my DH I would go back to work early and he said no way. We had 11 people in the last 6 months go on mat leave, with several more to go in the next 5.
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@MrsCastro: oh man, i wouldn't go, honestly. There's no reason to put yourself through that! and if it's a close friend, she will understand. and if not, well, it's not worth it! and throw out the invitation, don't torture yourself
@Lately: i hear you. everyone is terrified of me taking mat leave, and keep asking me when i plan on trying. um, none of your business!
@babycanuck: my work is so dependent on me too. my boss will have a heart attack when i get pregnant. i'm terrified, he freaks out when i take one day! but i don't get a year, i'll be lucky if i get 6 weeks!
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@LindsayInNYC: not lame at all! i have the same thoughts...my body type is not the type that will look "all belly" when i'm pregnant, i'm going to feel (and probably look) like a whale
persimmon / 1491 posts
@esqbee: truth is, its DH's sister...i have had the conversation with him already that i need to do what is right for me...and to be honest i have a feeling that i will be a hot mess that day if i go, just a big trigger of where we should have been...
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@MrsCastro: aw, that's a tough one. but i'd think she would completely understand, and not want you to be uncomfortable. i think i would sent a nice gift and tell her that i'd love to see her and celebrate privately or something...
pomelo / 5228 posts
@MrsCastro: Definitely skip it if you think you can get away with it... I went to a friend's shower a month after my m/c and had to take a walk around the block crying with a friend who knew what I was going through. I don't recommend putting yourself in the situation if there is any way around it!
