I used a Lansinoh pump with DD and don't recall ever changing the membranes. I am using a PISA this time and have been pumping 3x/day for about 2 months and noticed a decline in how much I was pumping so today I put in new membranes and pumped more milk. If you have a PISA how often do you change the little white membranes?

I never have? Been using my pump regularly for three months now.

Hmm... I've been using mine about 6 months and have never changed them. Maybe I should!

I only changed them when I lost them (down the drain sometimes when I cleaned them!)

I change mine out every month! I always check for the little tears by the nub and i always see tiny holes. So I toss them and buy new ones.
