I'm going to be renting a hospital grade pump and was told that I need to buy a starter kit for the symphony. I don't need the extra shields (I require the smaller set anyway) and was wondering if I could just buy certain parts like the tubing, membrane caps and protective membranes and reuse the other parts from my PISA. Has anyone done this? TIA

The only parts that are different are the tubing and the membrane caps (the ones that go in the symphony but aren't used at all on the pisa, not the little white circles). Everything else is interchangeable.

@anbanan15: you're going to love the symphony! Much quieter, better suction, and the suction for each boob is independent. It's such a good pump.
