So for our last two feedings, my lo was latched on and drinking peacefully and both times, about ten minutes in ... Milk starting dripping out of her right nostril! It didn't seem to bother her at all ... But its freaking me out. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it normal??

Yes this happened to me twice when LO was about 6-8 weeks, the doctor said it was ok.

When my LO used to spit up it Would come out of her nose. K guess there is something there that isn't completely formed in babies which is also why they can have bad reflux

My LO used to do this and it's apparently a combo of things according to my midwife and my LC.
- Babies only have short nasal tubes so it's only a short trip from the mouth to the nose
- It can be related to fast letdown, baby can't cope with the milk so out the nose it comes!I was told not to worry about it as breastfed babies have a long sucking motion which keeps the nasal passages nice and clear. My LO grew out of it at around six or eight weeks from memory (her latch got better and my flow regulated)

It was one of the things that freaked me out the most early on! Right before we took him home from the hospital, it was one of those moments I was sure we weren't ready. The nurse laughed, told me it was ok, sucked out his nose, and we got back to feeding.
