Did anyone start taking supplements to help with supply during the last few weeks of pregnancy? Would it even make a difference? Is it safe?

I dont think its worth it because you dont know yet if you will need it, for all you know you might have an oversupply. My supply is more than my LO can consume, I had a big freezer stash without even working hard at it or pumping regularly, and I've never taken any milk supplements.

I would wait until after baby comes, like mrsbells said you might not even need it. As for safety, fenugreek is considered a uterine stimulant and isn't recommended during pregnancy.

I don't think it's worth it either and, yeah, you may not need it. What helped me with my milk after I had my second son was that I started pumping as soon as the first feeding with my LO at the hospital, even if nothing was coming out. I did it after every feeding for 10 minutes and my colostrum came on day 2 and milk came in evening of day 2. And this is after having a c-section. My milk didn't come in with my first son (c-section as well) until about day 4 or 5. But I wasn't as good about pumping so I learned this time around.
