My DS1 is going to kindergarten this year! We got his supply list at registration back in the Spring. Off the top of my head I know on the list is crayons, pocket folders, pencils, hand soap, glue sticks, scissors, and maybe 1-2 other things. Its not too much stuff and no one is required to bring anything, just if you can.

First year for me having to buy school supplies (before we just paid an annual fee). Our school supply list is already out.. On the school website .Includes kindergarten.. There was apparently an early order period that you could order from a website and it would be on the kids desk on the first day of school.. Which I missed , of course. Now I have to go around and piece together all the items which is what everyone warned me against!
The list includes specific items like "2 black expo marker, low Odor, fine point" and "pencil box, 8 x 4x 2" ..

@Mamaof2: I don't know why there is a separate list, it looks like it's exactly the same. Although I remember looking at the list last year and noticing that the boys also had to bring hand wipes but the girls didn't? And I have no idea why so many paper products.. I guess those are things that the school doesn't provide for the classrooms in adequate quantity, and the teachers decided they need the parents to bring them?
