My second cycle with clomid resulted in a chemical pregnancy. My insurance won't cover RPL testing until I have three documented losses. While this is my third, I only have two "on paper" because I never went in for a beta -- I planned on calling my RE when the line on my test got darker, but it didn't.
Their hands are tied & we can't afford RPL testing out of pocket. I asked about an IUI today out of curiosity, and was told we can add one into the mix this month if we'd like. They normally don't suggest a different treatment until you've had three failed cycles. Technically, they'd likely suggest us adding an IUI into the mix in January. I inquired about it for December, though.
If you had an IUI, what made you move on from TI to something more aggressive? How did you know you were ready to try?
For reference, I did two cycles of Clomid with Chloe (pregnant on second try) and am starting my 3rd round of Clomid today for Baby #2.
