I said "ouch! Don't bite mommy!" And popped her off. If she did it again I ended the nursing session. I eventually got to a point where I could sense the change in her jaw and anticipate when she was about to bite and pop her off before it happened. She usually did it at the end of the session when the milk was slowing down.

I just say "no, you don't bite mommy!" Sternly. It seems to startle her. She hasn't done it in a while. Good luck! It hurts sooooooo much.

Xander usually does this at the end of nursing - either when he wants to switch sides (we always nurse both sides) or he's done. Whenever he bites me, I say "No biting!" and pop him off and if he seems like he's going to do it again, we stop nursing. But I think I'm getting the hang of figuring out when he's going to do it, especially since it's always at the end of a session!

I tried startling her and/or saying "no" in a stern voice, but she would just laugh and try it again. I changed to bottles until the tooth came in.
