I had this way back when LO was just born to about 2 months old, it was the weirdest thing! I noticed drinking cold water while nursing and sometimes eating a snack really helped, it did eventually go away though.

It wasn't quite nausea but I always had a wave of...something, along with intense, near painful thirst whenever I let-down. I did the same as @Bao: , drank cold water and sometimes snacked on something. For me it started easing after 2 months and was mostly gone by 3, although I can still definitely feel it when I let-down.

Subscribing because I'm interested in the responses! This is one of the many things that made me uncomfortable when I was bf'ing...

Yes, I get very slightly nauseous just before let down. I also completely lose my appetite (unfortunately it comes right back though!). It helps when I drink water. I've been breastfeeding for nearly 6 months now and still have this same sensation before let down - it isn't so bad that it makes me want to stop, though.

I never felt any nausea, but like @FutureMrsMcK: I felt very thirsty and a weird sensation I can't really describe. Almost like an overwhelming sense of sadness or loss? It was a really sad, unpleasant feeling that would last just a few seconds after I let down.
