Bfn today at 10dpo, not shocked at all considering our timing! I'm hoping we get a better shot next month and that I don't have anything unexpected come up...like ILs staying with us for the duration of my fertile period.

@MrsB2012: They are! Left Sunday night. But now I've got two sick crabby toddlers who both desperately want to be the ONLY one in mama's lap. Not sure which situation I prefer.

@marley: could be! I guess I will just wait to see if AF shows up in 4 days per her usual.

@mrschickpea: Thanks, I'm not really sure because my cycles have been wonky. But according to the most recent average of 45 days my app has I'm due for AF tomorrow. I'm not convinced I'm ovulating although I do have cm changes and 'symptoms' of O, that's something I'm going to be asking my doctor about this Thursday.
@coopsmama: Thanks lady, I'm sorry too! Hopefully next month will be better for both of us!

@marley: not out yet, but sorry about temp dip. When are you testing? Fingers are crossed for you

@marley: until I see you below the cover line, I'm rooting for you!!

@Nutella: @mrschickpea: thanks for the support! Probably not going to test unless my temp goes back up. Why bother, right?
to everyone testing today!!

Pretty sure this month wasn't it. We had perfect timing but I'm 11 dpo today and I took a test this morning and it was negative.
persimmon / 1071 posts
@marley: Thanks! You too! 7 months trying + 45 days or more cycles are becoming very deflating.
Hopefully it turns around for both of us!

@coopsmama: still early! I'm rooting for you!
@marley: Fingers crossed! Your temps are still above the cover line. I have hope!
@mrsjd: Hope maybe it's just too early and you Oed a little later?
@WinterBee: I'm so sorry. Hope your doctor can provide some answers. Opks might help? I have a love/hate relationship with them though. Sometimes its more stress knowing its O time and not being able to BD. I have irregular cycles too and symptoms of O, but I actually ended up Oing on CD 23 this month. But based on my symptoms, I thought it was a week earlier. Bodies do strange things when ttc!

Just wanted to pop in and say CONGRATULATIONS!!! to all the recent BFPs! I wish all of you a happy and healthy 9(9.5 actually!) months!

@WinterBee: I'm so sorry I totally understand the long cycles and trying for more than 6 months. Ugh, sometimes it just takes some of us longer

@mrschickpea: @tiramisu: CONGRATULATIONS to you ladies!!!! this is such great news I just came back from being computer-less over the holiday and am so happy for you both. wonderful
@marley: I checked in today specifically thinking about you! I respect that testing philosophy (even more so after my little roller coasters), but like everyone else, am also am holding out hope as long as you're still so high above that cover line. keep us posted
@WinterBee: I'm so sorry this month was still frustrating for you, lady. Weren't you going to start using opk's this month? (if so, did you get any answers from them? sorry if you already posted about this and I forgot) Hang in there, we're all rooting for you.
@coopsmama: @mrsjd: I'm sorry. xxx

I'm going crazy. I'm 9 dpo. with my last two pregnancies I tested positive on 11 dpo and 12 dpo. I made the mistake of digging through the garbage and discovered that a wondfo from yesterday and from today both have evaporation lines on them (they appeared outside of the window of the test, but the lines look like they have color to them). Cue furious googling.
I'm seriously not stable, this has been a rough TWW. I'm really, really sad because I don't think/feel pregnant, but I also keep second guessing every sensation.
kiwi / 706 posts
@Silva: totally get it. I don't feel pregnant either, other than fatigue and gassy, and that could just be PMS symptoms. I don't even want to test!

@BandDmommy: @tiramisu: @mrschickpea: Thank you, I appreciate the support.
@LCTBQE: Yes! Then I... didn't. I got in my head too much about it, became overwhelmed picking a brand not wanting to spend a bunch of money if I wasn't even ovulating. It just didn't happen. My new plan was to make a doctors appointment, confirm ovulation, then move on to OPKs with some guidance (hopefully).
It took me a couple weeks to get an appointment, then I went in (last Friday on the 20) and no one was there! Apparently the office was sick and they overlooked my name when doing call outs (nice). So I talk to them last week and the soonest they could get me in again was this coming Thursday. Ugh... it's been frustrating.
Hopefully it'll be worth it though, not really sure what to expect.

@Silva: maybe wait until Tuesday to test then? My Wondfo was super light at 11dpo and still is today at 13dpo but my FRER I got yesterday was a blaring positive. Chin up lady, positive thoughts for you!
nectarine / 2461 posts
@Silva: I know it's impossible to be zen about this... would you consider going and getting a FRER tomorrow, and then testing tomorrow night or Tuesday morning? might give you a better idea if you *have* to know. I think I'm rapidly forming the opinion that symptom spotting and hunches and intuition is 75% bullshit, anyway
@WinterBee: that is annoying about your doctor, but I am still excited for you to use OPK's. I also got really annoyed during my last cycle because I ovulated super late (unusual for me) and I felt like I was just wasting them up until I finally caught it. but they're not *that* expensive, and it's so good to just have a window in to see what's going on. I'm sure any brand is totally fine. don't mean to bully you into it, I just think you'll like having that upper hand
persimmon / 1071 posts
@LCTBQE: I think you're absolutely right. I will for sure be using them this cycle... Whenever it starts haha. Did not get AF today expecting her any day now.
persimmon / 1045 posts
@Silva: hugs lady. I am hopeful for you in any case.
@WinterBee: so sorry
@coopsmama: fingers crossed for you still! and also for no houseguests during fertile window!! That used to happen to me and it was so awkward!
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
@Silva: I agree with the others! I would totally just break out a FRER in this case.
@Nutella: Oh my goodness, it was! We didn't get it on the entire time they were here - there was someone sleeping directly below our room and I was not super enthused at the thought. DH wasn't either. I told him it would likely kill our chances but we didn't care. Since we're just starting to TTC I figured there is always next month
persimmon / 1045 posts
@coopsmama: totally - I'll be joining next month if AF shows up in December. Pretty sure my FW is all over Xmas! . Plus it's so much more relaxing when you're home alone, don't have to half your ear/eye out for rogue visitors! I feel like as I've got older I have less patience for people who share my living quarters...in general, as well as around TTC
persimmon / 1045 posts
@marley: yeah keep us posted! Temps are still up compared to cover line, so hoping they stay that way!
persimmon / 1071 posts
I took another test this morning, BFN... Even when I squint and turn it every which way I don't see ANYTHING hahaha.
Still no AF either.
kiwi / 706 posts
I'm out guys! Temp dropped below cover line. Thank for rooting for me! On to December. Is there a thread yet?
nectarine / 2461 posts
@Nutella: so you're home for the holidays with no relatives and no obligations? lady, you are BLESSED
@WinterBee: good rule of thumb would be to assume a 16-day luteal phase and then count backwards from your period, so maybe with a 45-day cycle, you might be ovulating around CD 29 at the earliest? so if you wanted to be super prudent and not wasteful, you could start testing around CD26, maybe? the packages have little tables that tell you when to start testing, so you're not wasting them and getting discouraged seeing 20 days of negatives before you're in the game. xxx

Don't break out the party hats yet, because it's super early and very faint, but I got a positive within the time window on my second morning urine today.
10 dpo
clementine / 777 posts
@Silva: YES! Congrats! Hey, a positive is a positive. That's fantastic.
I'm resigning myself to failed first Clomid cycle. I took a Walgreens "early results" test yesterday with SMU at 11 dpo and it was negative. DH thinks it's just too early but I really think I'm out. Still didn't prevent me from obsessively googling the sensitivity of Walgreens tests and HCG at 10, 11, 12 dpo like a crazy person. I didn't test this morning.
All these nice positives are giving me hope, though. Waiting on my period and on to cycle 24 or so.
