Ok ladies - I can't find any nursing bras in the retail world for a gal with a large chest - looking for 38 DD/E or F. I have been able to find some, but they were either underwire or had tiny straps. I don't want to do underwire bc of the clogged duct risk. I need larger straps to hold "the girls" up. I have 2 of the super stretchy bras, but I'm looking for more structure. Any recommendations?

Is there a Nordstrom's anywhere near you? They will take any regular bras and make them nursing bras for about $10. I've been living in sports bras lately that I've cut holes into for pumping.

My favorite nursing bras have been sports nursing bras from Motherhood. They do have thin straps but because it's racerback style they're very supportive. Plus they're nice and thick. I have 2 black and 2 white! They kind of fall apart but you can get them during their buy 2, get 1 free sale really cheaply.

I have one from Cake Lingerie and one from Hot Milk. I like them both but love Cake! They have larger sizes - they're comfortable and beautiful!

@mrs. wagon - I do have 2 of those sport bras and I love them! But the straps show up a lot on my tops

I got all of mine from Motherhood. They were the only place where I could find EE or F. If you know what style you want, you could order from them online.

@CarrieLouWho: Try Lane Bryant or the Avenue for some larger sizes, then have them converted. That's what I'd like to do in a few weeks, before I go back to work.

Bare Necessities has a large selection of nursing bras for bigger chests. I got one by Anita and like it.

@MaisyMay: Also, Nordstroms should have a good fitting department and a good stock of big size nursing bras. If you just happen to live in Portland, Oregon, go to the one in the Lloyd Center. They will solve all your problems. Be sure to take all your money.

Subscribing. It's so hard to buy a bra online. I've always liked Nordstrom's Chantelle bras, but I was reading that you want something that grows up and down with you.

It's been great and I plan on buying more once the baby is here. I bought it when my boobs exploded in the late first trimester, because I didn't want anything with a cup and couldn't stand underwire anymore. It's been plenty supportive for something without underwire. I'm a DD at this point in my pregnancy and I wear this bra every day (don't worry, I wash it ;)).

I am normally an F cup but went up to an H(!) with nursing, Hot Milk and Cake are the way to go! Glamour mom full bust tanks are the bomb for nursing tanks for large busts.

I was professionally fitted for new bras after my milk came in. It makes the biggest difference. I wear bravado under wire nursing bras and haven't had any problems with clogged ducts. I think getting professionally fitted is the key. The salesperson was able to tell me which bras would work and which ones wouldn't based on my body. It was so helpful! She also was able to help me decide between similar styles.
