My baby nurses one side at a time (he is 9 days old and fills up with only one boob). So I alternate breasts each time he eats. I never skip a side, and he's usually on each breast for the same length of time (15-20mins).
But, I've noticed my right boob never gets as full as the left in between feedings? Why would that be? I offer that breast just as frequently as the other, I don't know why it would be producing a different amount??

It's very common for one side to produce more. If your baby is full after just one side, I wouldn't worry about it at all!! You have plenty of milk!

It's actually very common for one side to be a bigger producer! And it always seems to be the left side . Mine is my left side as well.

My supply is pretty even but I have much faster letdown on the right!

It's super common. My boobs even switched later in our nursing relationship. It was the left for the longest time, then the right. I have no idea how because we only nurse once a day.

But will it always be this way? Or do you think the under producer will pick up as long as we keep nursing from it? This is my second baby, but I didn't nurse my first, so I'm all new to this!

Yep, almost everyone has uneven supply between the 2 sides. My "over achiever" switched between kids! I found that I always had slightly uneven supply until my son weaned, 6 months in with DD I am still a bit uneven.

I had this - it was probably just a combination of my baby preferring one side and how my body produced. After a few weeks everything got a lot more even. I think my right side still produces a little more, but I only notice now if I miss a feeding.
As long as baby seems happy and healthy, there's nothing to worry about -

It may be a lost cause, but at a minimum I'm going to try offering the lesser producing breast first, and pump more/longer from that side.

Totally normal! With both babies my output on one side was nearly double the other.

My left always made an ounce or two more (I was an EPer). It was interesting because for the one or two weeks that I BFed DD strongly preferred the right, so I just assumed it was making more. Nope!

Yes--my right is the overachiever (or I guess my left side could be the underachiever, depending on how you look at it!) No idea why.

I wouldn't go off of "fullness". Just because one feels harder may not mean it has more milk

I'm EPing and get significantly more milk from my right side.

My left produces WAY more than my right when I pump.

My right is my overproducer! When I pump I will sometimes get 3 oz from the right to 1 oz from the left! Crazy but it is what it is

My right was my over producer. I EPd and at my morning pump, I woukd get 10 oz from my right boob alone...maybe 6-7 from my left.

I always got double out of my right than my left! Same as with my first child. Never changed for me.

So, since my left side always seems more full, it makes me *want* to nurse him more on that side to empty it more frequently. But, I have a feeling that will just encourage that side to continue to be more full. I don't think it's creating any noticeable visual differences, but it's still bugging me
