Our one-year-old used to eat anything and everything. In the last few weeks he is starting to get a little picky. I find that we now have a somewhat limited repertoire of food that he will eat. For example he often doesn't want what we are eating for dinner anymore. I think he's too young still to say "well eat it or go hungry" so I've been making separate food for him in an effort to get him to eat. Mostly he wants to eat fruit, cheese, yogurt, tomatoes, pasta, hot dogs, and he will eat peas carrots corn and sweet potatoes in smaller amounts. Lately he is hit or miss with chicken, bread and peanut butter. What have y'all done? Should I let him keep eating what he wants? Is it okay that his diet isn't very diverse?

Eta- I should add also that while he used to try anything I put in front of him, he's becoming more resistant to trying new foods now too. I hope this is just a phase!
