DD will be 7 months in a few days, and I worry about how much solids she will eat. She is getting enough to eat (nurse 4/5 times, plus one bottle) but seems to get very bored with her solid food choices. One day she will eat something, and the next she will flat out reject it. I try to mix it up, but there is almost nothing she will eat on a daily basis. Oatmeal is turned down most of the time, and so is yogurt. A few days ago bananas were delicious, and when I tried to give her some for an afternoon snack today, she wouldn't have anything to do with it. She was clearly hungry enough because she wanted my lunch and then accepted some rice puff snacks from me.
I'm thinking I should save out some food from dinner for her, so her options would be varied, but I hesitate as I don't know how bold I can go. Also, she doesn't do too well with food bites yet, just those puffs that dissolve, so I do not feel confident doing BLW right now. Maybe in a month or so, or after teeth come in, but not yet.
How much did your LO eat around 7 months? I'm thinking her total solid food intake is around 6 ounces each day. What did you feed him or her?
