LO is 12 weeks old and has ALL of these signs of me having an overactive letdown, meanwhile I have none of the signs. I never spray, rarely leak. I don't even feel my letdowns. When I hand express sometimes it shoots out, but I feel like something else is wrong--not an overactive letdown. Any idea what else could cause these signs in a baby? I will see a LC soon, but in the meantime, please help!

Mother may experience (I have none):

Strong or even painful sensation when milk ejects
Frequent spraying of milk from one or both breasts
Excessive leaking
More than one let-down per nursing session
Repeated mastitis (breast infections)

Baby may exhibit (he exhibits all):

Fussiness and/or gassiness
Frequent stools, often green, curdy and mucusy
Gulping, gasping and choking while nursing
Excessive weight gain (not excessive, but very good)
Apparent lack of "comfort" nursing
Discomfort when breastfeeding, sometimes so intense that baby goes on strike
