Seriously. Set-up time + pumping time + break down time = 30 minutes! Pull everything out, hook it up, get the bottles on, get it going, then reverse? And getting the bottles snug in the cooler....What a PAIN!
Just wanted to whine. Anyone else feel my pain?

I totally feel your pain... I only was able to pump once during my day at lunch on my lunch hour. Not fun!

I am sitting at my desk with my microwaved booby tubes on so anyone who walks by and looks at me will notice that my chest is somewhat lumpy! Oh well.
I HATE pumping at work but gotta do what I gotta do. I should pump 3x a day but most days I only pump 2x. I'm dealing with clogged ducts right now so I have to make sure I get all three in today.

Ug, I totally feel you. I also want to whine about it. Some days I'm not sure it's worth it because I really can't pump that much so we are supplementing big time. Does anybody else feel like giving up b/c of so much effort for so little result?

@phdmommy: I think I'm lucky because I've been able to get enough for a feeding at every pump session. As she starts eating more, it may be more trouble. Maybe as she needs more you produce more? I have no idea how that works if you're pumping. I've just started this pumping at work and nursing at night thing so I'm not yet sure how this is going to work out. I guess the next few weeks will definitely show me if I'm producing enough for her.
@mrsjazz: oh no! Clogged ducts are so painful, I'm sorry! Definitely get all three sessions in today and feel better soon.

i dont pump at work but pumping in general is a pain especially first thing in the morning before work. I thought I was the only one that takes forever just to set up and pump

Yes! And the days you forget something : lids, cooler bag, bottles... I swear, Mondays were worst for me!

Yes, it's definitely a pain. Not to mention I always have to pump at inopportune time, like when I have a last minute meeting with the executives... not so easy to excuse myself to pump.

haven't been in that situation but i find it such a pain to pump at home, so i can just imagine how much of a bigger pain in the boodie it is to pump at work.
