My LO is 6 months- I exclusively nursed the first 3 months , then exclusively nurse during weekends and morning and evening during weekdays while pumping 3 times during work hours. All had been fine until recently.

I am not sure if you experienced this but nowadays there would be random sessions that I can't pump anything when I could have at least get 4 oz. 90% of the time happens when it is an unscheduled session, such as when LO is on nursing strike so I had to pump. At first I thought it was stress but lately I realized I am not even stressed and still nothing would come out via pump, even when I am engorged.. Will come shooting out when I hand express though.

I am using medela freestyle. I thought it was the pump that is failing but I borrowed my friend's pump (in style advanced) and it still won't pump.

This has been certainly frustrating when LO is going thru nursing strike lately. Thank god my husband is around but if I am by myself there is no way I can handle it. I am actually seriously thinking about weaning.

Did this happen to u before? How did you cope with it and do you hv suggestions for me?
