M is 3 weeks tomorrow. She has had a couple of nights this past week where she sleeps from her evening feeding at 11:30pm, to 4:30am. I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering if this normal at this age? She eats every 2.5 hours during the day.

Enjoy the sleep that both you and her are getting!! I have always considered sleep a GREAT thing for babies (and in general) and would NOT worry one bit about your LO sleeping more!

yes charlie even slept 5 hour stretches the first two weeks! alas that did not last. i woke up olive to feed her every 4 hours but only because she was so small. otherwise i would have let her sleep! i definitely wouldn't have woken charlie up!

My LO did this too, she often would do 6-7 hour stretches. I got mastitis so I started worrying I wasn't waking her up enough so for a bit I started waking her up every 4 hours.

M used to wake every 3 hours til she was 6 weeks. That's when her 5-6 hour stretches started!
Enjoy the sleep!

Even of not typical for her age that's great!! T is 6.5w and a 4 hr stretch is still not the norm And no 5 hr stretch yet either - usually 3.5 then 3 then 2. Enjoy!!
