I bought raspberries today and was gonna add them to yogurt for LO....then I thought hmm can she have raspberries?? She is 9.5 months. When did you first give raspberries to your LO?

DD looooves raspberries. They're also my favorite food. Hands down!

For sure! LO had raspberries around 6.5 months maybe. He loves them. Now I cut them in half and he picks them up off the high chair tray.

I offered them at seven months. I think the general advice is nine months. I gave them earlier because by the time she could have them at nine months she would have missed the delicious summer berries. No reactions thankfully.

DS loves them, but *used* to have some co-ordination problems picking up halved raspberries. His solution: faceplant into the high chair's tray and swish around until some ended up in his mouth.

We first gave them at 8.5 months in a yogurt pouch. We gave straight rasperries at 9.5 months.

I think 8 mos? I didn't know you needed to wait on them...?

I gave her real ones at 9 months, just cut in half. She had some in a pouch around 6 months.

I think around 9 months? Our pedi said the only thing we needed to wait on was peanut butter and honey (one year). He LOVES raspberries!
