it really is an overwhelming experience at first. just double check that you have all the right medications and dosages in your box. learning how to administer the drugs is such a pain. i cried when i tried to prepare menopur for the first time. but you'll get the hang of things. and once you get positive results, it feels so good when you can throw out all those stupid needles and empty vials. good luck! it's totally worth it!

brings back bad memories! haha. i actually had a bunch to donate back. (medicine. i actually had to get more needles). the needles aren't so bad at first. it really does get painful but not unbearable. don't forget to massage the area after the shot - that definitely helped. and when you find out you have your precious baby, it's SO WORTH IT! and when you take your last shot, feels SO GOOD!

wow, i didn't take any injection class. luckily my hubby knows how to administer needles so the nurse just showed him where to go. what sux is if you have to do it yourself - i had to do it twice. eek!

my friend had a wonderfully healthy baby boy through ivf. he's now three and super smart! good luck with this cycle... hope it's not that scary and only good news comes your way!
