Has anyone taken reglan to increase supply? LOs Dr prescribed it to me yesterday. When I started looking it up on the internet it seems to potentially have some bad side effects. The Dr. Did mention it can cause ticks (movement) and diarrhea but didn't mention anything about permanency of the ticks or anything else. I'm afraid I'm just freaking myself out by googling.

I took Reglan for a migraine during pregnancy and had no adverse side effects.

I haven't, but I am taking domperidone. It really helped my supply.

Nope, I was/am waaaay too freaked out by the side effects. I'd stick to trying the Dom first.

@MrsH: did you end up taking reglan? My OB just called in a prescription for me. I'm aware of side effects but everyone agrees it's worth the risk at this point. Just wondering what your experience was.

Reglan made me CRAZY and didn't really help my supply. I had some serious mood side effects. They did go away as soon as I stopped taking it. Domperidone worked much better for me with no side effects.

@jhd: It increased my supply BUT it caused a reaction in my son. He had tummy aches and runny stools. This is not abnormal for him though but it seemed to correlate.

@Mrs. Twine: I can't get Domperidone. It seems like it used to be available online without a prescription. It's just a 10 day course so I guess we'll see. I will be on the lookout for crazy side effects.
