I was in denial for a long time since this doesn't happen all the time, but we are not latching good at all while BFing. Most of the time he just stays on the nipple. I'm still using nipple shields (GRR) so I don't get much pain at all, but he pops on and off and when he's drinking, milk runs everywhere. Also he's getting super fussy at the breast when the milk flow is slower because he's used to the steady flow of the bottle he gets at daycare while I'm at work. I feel like I'm breastfeeding constantly because he won't sit through a full feed without pulling on and off and fussing, so we both get frustrated and stop and end up snacking all day.

I feel like if we can break him from the nipple shield it would help since it would be a clear difference between nipple and bottle, but we've not had any lasting success.

ETA: he's 4 months old
