Is it possible Clomid is just making my LP stupid long? I was doing some reading and it looks like this could be a possibility... If that's the case, is it still possible I could be KU, or...? I wish I could just have an answer, ugh.

@pui: What cycle days do you take it?? I've heard of it giving you a short LP due to thining of the UL, but not long..... maybe that is a God thing?!?

@pui: I'm looking at my RE book about medicated cycles....it states if taken cycle day 3-7 you are likely to ovulate 7-10 days after putting that cycle day 14-17 sooo I'm guessing if taken cycle day 5-9 you ovulate 7-10 days after sooo cycle day 16-19!?!?

@pui: I know I've said this before, I wish they would monitor you it would put your mind at ease

This is my first post on Hello Bee! I've been lurking for a while but have only ever posted on weddingbee.
Cycles Trying: this is 5 (Started in April, but took August off because I had laparoscopic surgery)
Current Cycle Day: 18
Estimated Ovulation Date: I think it was September 11, so Day 14
POAS Date: September 23 is 12 DPO so I am going to wait until at least then before I do it.
BD Timing: every other day since my period ended.
Anything new or extra this cycle: we are going low key for a while. No temping, charting, symptom stalking. Just regularly BDing. I was too stressed before and needed to relax.
What's your #1 Song on your music player?: either I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons or Home by Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros. Went to the Gentlemen of the Road Music Festival and am even more obsessed than I was!

@FaithFertility: I just had my first RE appointment last week. I start tests when/if AF gets here.
Based on my temps I'd say I O'd CD17. I did get a positive OPK CD18, so it's possible I O'd as late as CD19 (although I've had many positive OPKs after O before).
So it is possible I am actually 13DPO right now, but I still think CD17 looks like a pretty clear O day.

@Mrssnowpoke: welcome! good luck!
@pui: your chart is confusing me too! as long as AF hasn't shown yet, maybe implantation was a little later than normal? I am really not an expert...but will keep fx for you!

So, curious, how often did you BD during your fertile period? Our OB said every other day. Is that what everyone else is doing?

@littlek: Luckily DH and I DTD pretty often anyway... we usually have sex every other day at least. Actually I've noticed we have a pattern of DTD 2 days and then taking a break one day then 2 days on again lol.
They say DTD everyday can actually be bad for sperm quality. Every other day is probably a good goal.

@pui: DTD every day with my DHs work schedule is not possible. He works 12 + hours a day. He's actually making a point of not working as much because we need to BD every other day this week. I have no idea how he will explain this to his boss.

I'm out this month. AF rolled into town this morning. Boo.
On the bright side my LP was 10 days instead of 6 and I will get to have a cocktail with DH for his birthday this weekend!

@littlek: we DTD every other day over a span of eight days - entire fertile week. That did the trick for us.

@lindseyinny: I'm so sorry, sending big hugs!!!
@pui: I know I've read that clomid can extend your LP and your chart still looks good...hang in there.
@mamacate: Congrats!
@ShayNanigans: I'm with you on the non-medicated cycle. I think I ovulated either Sat or Sun as I have a clear temp shift today. Hopefully we had enough of a BD storm for it to stick.
I have my first acupuncture appointment today so adding that to the "things I'll try to get pregnant" list.

@AlmostMrsG: I think we have very similar cycles this month. I think I ovulated on Saturday and I have my first acupuncture appt tomorrow night!

@littlek: My OB recommends every other day. That's usually what we adhere to. We try to begin the EOD around CD13 or so, and continue until O is confirmed. Try, being the key word...
@CakeLady: Sorry about AF; enjoy that cocktail

Got my blood results from my dr who thinks I'm hypothyroid. All blood work came back normal, she's sending me for a thyroid ultrasound on Weds then later next week I should have results. I think this is worse than the TWW and waiting for BFP or AF.
