I'm trying to get rid of all plastics, so I want to move to a metal lunchbox solution for the kids. Mrs. Bee's review of the Planetbox got me thinking, but I think I want separate containers instead of one big one since I don't want them opening their lunch before lunchtime. They do morning and afternoon snack.

I started looking into individual metal containers, but then I realized that most have solid lids so the caregivers can't tell what's in them without opening them. I don't really want to label the containers every single day... that's a lot of containers, with two kids! Maybe I could label them lunch, snack, and snack, though...

I also want separate containers because we pack a lot of fruits, which can be runny and leak... and we also pack a lot of dinner leftovers, like pasta with sauce, and that can be quite messy as well.

I can't help but want shiny new lunchboxes with built-in ice packs, as well! lol. We do have the cloth type lunchboxes and use regular ice packs, but they get so condensation-y that we have to put them in ziplock bags.

So yeah!! Show me your lunch packing solutions, please!!
