What are some snacks you send to daycare? My 1 year old is starting to get more snacks since we are phasing out bottles, and I feel like I'm in a rut with only fruit and cheese. Anything else you like to send?

Broccoli, crackers, melon, cheerios, orange pieces, bananas, mac-n-cheese, avocado, yogurt, applesauce, cut up grapes, blueberries, frozen peas, small pieces of steak, strawberries, hard boiled eggs, shredded cheese, shredded meat, "beans" (edamame, scrambled eggs. We sent all of these and more and she just ate them cold.

For some alternatives to the goldfish and crackers we did veggie straws, baked apple chips, muffins etc.

Thanks guys! My brain just needed a jump start for some ideas - I like the veggie and fruit chips. I'll give those a try this week!

C's current favourites are:
Snap peas, bell peppers, cucumber, any and all fruit, hummus and crackers, rice cakes, yogurt, applesauce, dried fruit, granola bars, tzatziki & pita, & cereal bars

Yogurt, apple sauce pouches, chick peas (out of can, rinsed), pita and hummus, thin strips of bell peppers, very thin "matchsticks" of carrots, bamba (Israeli peanut butter snack), PB crackers, sliced olives (my kid is weird), rice cakes (or multigrain cakes), plain multigrain or whole wheat crackers, freeze dried apples, pretzel sticks, edamame, graham crackers...that might be my whole snack arsenal. Haha.

I used to do hummus in a small container stuck inside a bigger one with peppers or carrots- she always liked that!
