I don't know why, but before I got pregnant I thought the idea of tasting breast milk was so weird. Both DH and I have tried mine, though...much sweeter than I thought it would be!
My FIL jokes about using MIL's breast milk in his coffee once or twice when she was nursing...she's neither confirmed nor denied it, but from the look on her face I think he was being serious...
Have you tasted your own breast milk? Has your SO?

I have! When I am breastfeeding and let down I think it smells so good. Like freshly steamed milk at a coffee shop. So when I smelled the delicious smell I had to try it.
My DH has not tried It and never well. He is such a weenie!

I have, DH hasnt. He is convinced its salty. I dont know why he thinks that.

I have but my husband hasn't. I've tried to get him to do it but he thinks it's weird. I was just curious one day about what she was eating and loved so much (she eats a lot).

I spilled a drop of my sister's on my while preparing a bottle for my nephew and I tasted it. is that gross?
My sister didn't think it was weird, DH did. I will definitely taste my own.

Just me! I didn't try it until the second baby though. The thought of it use to gross me out but it's really not a big deal.

Yup. I only tried the slightest little bit though. But DH tried it too and said it's good.
My little brother tried it too! he was curious what it tasted like haha

I tried a teeeeeeny tiny drop. While preggers, I thought I would be all gung-ho about it and try a lot, but then once I actually got my milk, I was grossed out by it.
DH hasn't and will not try it... he thinks it's weird/gross (not BM in general, but him drinking my milk).

@cranberryapple: I would! mine tastes like sweetened, slightly thinned milk. When I;'m warming up a bottle for DH to give him I check the temp of the milk on my wrist and then lick it off, lol.

I tried a drop. Also, once I made LO pancakes using BM instead of cow's milk. We were out of milk and I was just cooking for her, so I figured what the heck! I tried a bite, it just tasted like pancake. My husband thought it was weird. He hasn't tried it (in liquid or pancake form).

nope! I don't know why but the idea of such fresh milk from human OR cow (or goat, etc) freaks me out. If forced to I would try it, but I wouldn't choose to try it on my own! Wagon Sr. has never tried it either.
