We use the gerber ones that are small and kinda flat with a rubber spoon. We tried a few other brands but these were best. They are narrow (smaller than a teaspoon and smaller than other toddler spoons) and just designed for an infant.

We use Nuby ones or this Gerber soup spoon that my friend gave me...It is soft and LO likes to chew on it!

We had infant spoons by VitalBaby but DS did not like them. We ended up discovering that he would only eat from a stainless steel spoon. We ended up getting a infant to toddler Oneida set. The spoon is the same size as the silicone spoons and there is another one that still smaller than a teaspoon.

I saw boon makes a spoon that is silicone coated on one side and stainless steel on the other so maybe something like that would work so you could see if your LO has a preference too.

We have a set of Munchkin brand baby spoons and a set of the toss and go spoons. The Munchkins are our favorite! We use them a lot more than the t&g.

We have the Munchkin spoons, they are nice and soft. Mostly right now I'm dipping my finger in mushy things that we have at meals and giving him a few tastes.
