@mtex14: if you've gotten another one, I think there is a VERY good chance that you're pregnant! You could keep testing, but I think it's a BFP!!! Congrats!

@mtex14: your HCG should double every 48 hours. So let's say your HCG was a 6 yesterday. It's likely a 9 today. In terms of color/darkness, that really isn't that big of a difference. And, the dilution of your urine could have contributed. There are so many variables at play. If you got a line, it's a line. Analog tests merely give you a yes/no answer.
FWIW, digitals are very insensitive and don't be discouraged if you get a not pregnant today on a digi. I think their MIU is 50+, and personally, my hcg didn't increase to over 50 until I was 13DPO.

@MRS. JUMP ROPE thank you that makes me feel so much better! I did use a digital one last night and it said NO but i didnt get upset since I did read they are very insensitive . Thank you so making me feel better!
@LOVELYPLUM thank you!! I am going to take another test tomorrow and see what happens! My husband saw both lines so I know it was there !
I also have an under active thyroid ( on meds) don't know if that has anything to do with the line being so faint ..

@mtex14: I agree with jump rope- digital neg doesn't mean you AREN"T.
I apologize if you already said, but what type of test were you using? FRER?
I never had a "OMG SUPER DARK" test so I know the darkness doesn't come into play. Doesn't mean it didn't make me overthink things when I was first pregnant though

I used First Response! The box I ordered off of Amazon had 3 tests so I dug threw my trash ( no shame here haha) and saw the test I took Wednesday also had a barely line there almost like you could see it but werent sure if your eyes were playing tricks on you. So i think it would be really odd to have 3 tests that were defective!
@KJPUGS that makes me feel better your line was not super dark..there is hope for me
I'm going to test Saturday and see what happens!

@mtex14: I would call. I have no will power. Absolutely none. The worst that can happen is your doctor will say wait until Monday

@mtex14: I've had a FRER evap, but it showed up after the time frame. and it looked skinny and weird. strangely not every one in that box gave me an evap either, just one bad test (I can't even blame the test since it was after the time frame).
my extensive experience with FRERs (4 chemical pregnancies and 1 successful pregnancy) is that you should see some darkening of the test within 48 hours. there are absolutely exceptions, but that has been true for me so far. a blood test will get you some answers too but you won't know anything until after the second test at least 48 hours later, since it's about doubling and not a single HCG number.

@BHBEE thank you so much that is good to know especially about the FRER evap you had! I thought it would be too weird to have all 3 be messed up. Called my Drs and have an appt Monday morning and the nurse said she would be able to tell me Monday afternoon! I want to test again but if its faint again I know that will be so upsetting so might just wait until monday for the blood test!

I see a line! Also, if you have any Wondfos I would test with one of them--Wondfos were more sensitive than FRERs for me during my earliest tests (like 10 DPO - wondfo showed a barely squinter, FRER I could see nothing at all on, which discouraged me because I thought FRERs were supposed to be more sensitive, so I thought maybe the Wondfo was a fluke). By 12-13 DPO my tests of both brands had darkened to "real" lines, but the Wondfos remained darker and more distinct than the FRER for me at that point.

So I am completely confused if I am pregnant or not! I took another pregnancy both digital and FRER test the other day and both came out negative!! Has this happened to anyone else? I def had 3 FREF very faint positives early this week, now I have 2 negative digital and 1 negative FREF I dont know what to believe talk about emotional rollercoaster!!!

It could be a chemical pregnancy - when you have implantation but the pregnancy falls almost immediately. I know lots of women who have had faint positives around the time of a missed period but then a few days later it is negative and then get a period.
I hope you get good news at the doctor on Monday.

Different box where I got the FRER I'm sooo bummed!! This is our 6 cycle I'm hoping I'm pregnant but now so confused. I was reading about chemical pregnancies I just wanna know

I cant thank you enough for the support! I got another faint positive ( darker than the one in this post) yesterday evening! Got my blood drawn this morning at 7am and now patiently waiting for the drs office to call! This is the worst part.....

Don't worry about the digital- I think those require higher levels of HcG to say pregnant, and if you are very newly pregnant (which I believe based on the intensity of the line on your FRER), then it might not pick it up yet.
