I found this cute idea on skip to my lou for my kids teachers for valentine's day.
I am wondering if I should do Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts gift cards? If you are a non coffee drinker would dunkin donuts be better?
fyi - I have no idea if they like/love/hate coffee
I was only going to do a $5 gift card so that would be 1 drink at starbucks or a few at DD.
Thoughts?

Cute! I love Starbucks green tea lemonade so I vote Starbucks for non-coffee drinks.

I think it depends on your region! I prefer Starbucks by a lot, but I've been in Boston for the past few weeks for work and it definitely seems like DD country over here...!

W/ DD the thing is you can get food too, but I feel like Starbucks is better. Unless you know the area has one and not the other!

I prefer DD coffee and $5 would buy me 2.5 med coffees. Starbucks is great for a coffee - like beverage and the $5 gift card would be enough for one med (grande) mocha with raspberry syrup.

This one needs a poll. But I vote Starbucks. I'm not a regular coffee drinker; the only thing I like is their white chocolate mocha. You would think that would push me to DD, but I don't like their coffee AND I don't like their donuts/food. Krispy Kreme all the way! 
So starbucks has more options that I, personally, would like.

Depends where you live. If in the north, I'd say Dunks....in the South, Starbucks. Not sure about other parts of the us

If you don't know if they like coffee, I'd go for DD. At least then they can use it for a nice treat. And, if they do like coffee, then they can get that there, too!

I'd go with whichever is closer to the school. I am a coffee drinker, but I actually prefer the non-coffee options at Starbucks. I only like the coffee at Dunkin (though I'll eat donuts from there if you really twist my arm.... or put one in front of me).

Tim Hortons! Around here getting someone a Tim Card is a pretty common gift.
Starbucks is too expensive and I don't see many Dunkin Donuts around here.

@pui: I love Tim Horton's! The US version isn't the same, and the closest one to me in 2.5 hours away.
