How's it going? Weaning yet or planning to wean?
We are down to 1 nursing session a day. It fits so well into my lifestyle that I'm not in any rush to quit. Except he's started pulling my shirt down in public!
Honestly, if he decided he was done I'd be ok with that. Sometimes I forget to offer and he doesn't ask, but then I offer the next day due to my own discomfort and we continue. I don't need to wean, but I'd be ok if he did.

Still going strong. She's not into taking her bottle during the day as much. This might mean the end of the pump is near. Not thinking of weaning anytime soon though.

She loves nursing but I have to wean so I can start fertility meds. I have a few more weeks left and we're down to a few times a day but she does ask for it and try pull my boobs out of my top, lol.

we just weaned a few weeks ago at 15.5 months. She could have cared less, I had no issues drying up (literally - no engorgement, leaking, anything). So much easier than I ever could have imagined. we had a super rough start, and I started out not even wanting to nurse, so I'm pretty proud!!

We're at 14 months and down to two sessions a day — morning and night. I went back to work in January, and didn't want to pump! It worked out well. I hadn't had leaking or engorgement in a looooong time, so no problems there. It's so nice to be able to get dressed in the morning without worrying about being nursing-friendly!!

Still nursing twice a day at 15 months. I still love our quiet time together (it's the only time he's not busy busy busy), and I want to give him any immune system advantages through this awful winter. I'm planning on weaning in April, after our next vacation abroad.

LO is 16 months and nursing 4-5 "quality" times a day, plus however many times he signs "milk." I've been grateful these past few days that he's nursing, because he caught a stomach bug and is still refusing to eat most solids aside from Cheerios.

We're a little young for this thread (December baby), but at 14 months, she's still nursing 4-5 times a day. I'm getting to where I'd be interested in weaning, but she's still a nursing monster. I couldn't nurse her for a day and a half last month for medical reasons, and it went TERRIBLY.

We were down to 1 session a day (bedtime) when I had to go out of town for 5 days due to work. He didn't start back up when I got home. He was just under 15months.
It was about the same age that DD weaned. I didn't miss it so much with her but miss it a bunch with him; maybe because I am fairly sure we are done at 2.

Question for @purrpletulips: (and others) - when you dropped the bedtime nursing, did you replace it with a cup/bottle of WCM? Or did your LO just start having dinner, then going to bed with nothing more to eat/drink between dinner and bed?

He's 16 months and he is going STRONG. At least 4x a day (I WOHM, too). He's still MOTN nursing as well. I tried dropping those, but he's still spending part of the night in our bed so that lasted all of 2 hours

@Beehive: DS gets a sippy of wcm with dinner then nothing else before bed. When he was nursing we gave water with his meal. We still do snuggles and rocking just nothing to drink. There is usually no more than one hour between dinner and bedtime.

No sign of any weaning over here! Miss A is almost sixteen months, still completely addicted to the boob and averaging about eight nursing sessions a day I can't see us stopping any time soon although A has recently started eating more solids.

late november baby - nursing morning & night and happy with that for now! weaning thus far has been super easy.. I just stopped offering and he hasn't asked!

LO is 19 months and showing NO interest in weaning. During the weekends she asks to nurse all the time, and she's still waking up 2-3 times at night to nurse as well. I was all for EBF, but I guess I assumed she would start cutting back as she got older! I'm not pumping at work anymore at least.

LO is 18 months on Saturday and self weaned at 16.5 months. It was bitter sweet but I am happy that we were able to go until he was ready to stop.
