T is 11.5 months and is totally over purees/oatmeal for breakfast. What do you give your older baby/toddler for breakfast? T is "meh" on eggs.

LO is 8 months and she eats: yogurt, toast, cereal like cheerios (with a little milk to soften it up), organic unsweetened applesauce...
you could do pancakes with bananas or sweet potato or blueberries in it...

@Bao: He hasn't had pancakes yet, actually! No reason why. He likes crispix (dry or softened with milk) and he does like yogurt. I guess there aren't many other breakfast options!

Tyler Florence's book has a recipe for sweet potato & blueberry pancakes, they are soooo good. We would make them on the weekend and freeze all the extras (made a ton) and they would make a quick and easy morning breakfast with some yogurt and other little sides.

@winniebee: LO hasn't tried pancakes yet either, someone just gave me the idea today!
@beesknees: I love the idea of freezing them!

we do yogurt and fruit. sometimes he'll have a bite or two out of our egg sandwiches but he's meh on eggs, too. and doesn't really love pancakes.
he LOVES muffins but he doesn't get them all the time.

LO is over oatmeal too. I do ypgurt, oatmeal bites, or sometimes frozen whole grain waffles. I'm planning on making a big batch of pancakes tomorrow for the freezer. LO has an egg intolerance, so those are our for a while. I would love more ideas!

I usually send send something she can pick up and something she can have spoon fed like yogurt and waffle or eggs and oatmeal. How about fruit and cheerios?

Usually we have eggs and toast. She didn't start loving eggs until 21 months though. If I have time I will make pancakes or waffles.

@Bao: Weelicious has a really good whole wheat oat pancake recipe. It's really good... I usually end up eating half of them...

Fruit is a big staple, also yogurt and cottage cheese, and LO LOVES sausage, so we get the all-natural chicken and apple ones that just take 90 seconds in the microwave. Sometimes waffles with almond butter.
LO also doesn't care about traditional "breakfast" foods, so he'll happily eat peas or beans or hummus or meatballs for breakfast too.

@Lozza: I forgot about cottage cheese! What's this chicken sausage? I've never heard of that, what brand is it?

LO is now 15 months. When he was much younger it was toast with butter & cheese, and bananas. Then I wanted to give him some protein so it became hard boiled egg, toast and some fruit. There was a period i made omelette with spinach and cheese (sometimes with mushrooms too), and serve with some toast and fruit.
I followed Mrs. Bee's recipe and made/freeze a bunch of sweet potato pancakes. With LO stopped eating omelettes in the morning at some point, it has now become hard boiled egg, sweet potato pancakes, and some fruit.
I wish he could just eat yogurt in the morning. I don't know why he doesn't. Argh.

Most days are yogurt and tons of different fruit, with some toast and cheerios in there. Sometimes we do turkey sausage too or instead of the yogurt.

@Bao: LO and I both really like Applegate Farms chicken and apple breakfast sausage: http://www.applegate.com/products/breakfast-sausage/category

I have been making fruit smoothies with yogurt, milk, ice, banana and apples since my LO started using the straw cup. The transition from sippy cup to straw cup went very well because he really enjoyed his smoothies.
