I'm up at my parents' house about 2.5 hours drive away from home. I've got several oz of milk that I'd like to freeze and am anticipating a few more extra oz over the course of the next week. I'd love to be able to get the milk back home since with twins, extra milk is hard to come by and I'm starting work again in 3.5 weeks, so am trying to build up whatever sort of stash that I can. Is it possible to get that frozen milk home safely? I was thinking I would pack up my soft cooler with ice packs, then put the soft cooler in a hard cooler with more ice packs for the drive. Is this stupid? Any other ideas for how to get the frozen milk home with me or is it a lost cause?
