@hilsy85: I just plugged it in online and it says due date of October 18th! eek!
that is a great idea for gifts. i'm nervous to buy a onesie because it still doesn't seem real, like that would jinx it - but that's silly, I know.
I'm toying around with writing out a valentine that's a little cheesy and then having the test in a box!... love the scotch idea too...
I would love to get a Fathering book of some kind, but I can't get to a bookstore in time.

@hellobeeboston: Hm when did you ovulate? I uses my last period start date and my o date and got the same thing. I uses the calculator on the just mommies website I think.

@MrsLilybugg: Well, I ended up trapped in a parking spot and had to wait for the guy who parked illegally to move, so I just sat there and cried for about 20 minutes (there wasn't anything else TO do.) Then I slept better than I have in weeks. So I'm back to being mostly explicable. Yay!

@cyneswith: oh no! being trapped in a car sucks- did the guy even apologize? i hate how they just waltz into their cars sometimes. grrrrr. Well good, I'm glad that you're back to feel more yourself now!

Woohoo! I finally got my first positive OPK. I was beginning to think these strips didn't work for me. I'm excited that I'm going to O soon. Is it sad that I almost took a pic of it? Haha. I didn't, though.

Just thought I'd jump in since we are officially TTC.
I am on CD3 on my first cycle since having Mirena taken out. Can't complain because it only took AF 3 days to show up with a vengeance after it was removed lol
I'm excited to eventually have my first OPK and I'm certain I will take a picture of that smiley face lol
Congrats to all that had great news after their TTW!!!

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm on CD 4....we'll be on vacation during the next fertile time, which will hopefully make for an extra enjoyable vacation

@highwire: nice! Maybe I should schedule a getaway my next fertile time.
OK here's my update:
temping has just been impossible! I go to bed with all the best intentions, I even leave the thermometer right.next to me so it's easy. I know it takes 10 seconds, and I can jot it down later. But I have such trouble falling asleep, and when I wake up sporadically which is almost every day, the last thing I can manage to think of is that darn thermometer. Grrr. I guess I'll have to rely on bloodwork to see if I 'O' if I need further help with fertility apts.
Currently I am on CD12. My OPK detected a surge earlier than usual, CD10 (I had a strange dream that I interpreted as having to test early. Usually I start testing CD12!) I also had a smiley face CD11. So maybe it was detected up and down surges. I'll test again tonight.

So I need advice...
Prior to being on BC, my cycles were 33-35 days long. Last month, my first month off BC, I O'd on CD 17 and my cycle only lasted 27 days.
This month I've been charting regularly and everything looks good. Then yesterday, CD 16, I wake up and my temp is up to 97.70 (up from ~97.45). That would have implied that I O'd on CD 15, which seems early to me. I was thinking I had a cold because I've been sneezy and had a runny nose, and chalked the high temp to a fever. Today, CD17, I'm up even more: 97.85. I'm a little sneezy, but for the most part, I feel fine. I did wake up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night (2:30), so I had an interrupted sleep, but I still got ~4 hours of sleep before I temped at 6:30.
So... do you guys think these two high temps are cold/sleep related? Or do you think maybe I really did O early?? I'm so confused...

I'm on the early end of my cycle - CD7 - waiting to O. This is cycle #8, and we are on the older side - soon to be 34 and 37 - so we decided to make a Dr. appointment for later this month just to check things out. Hoping that we are pregnant by the time that appt. rolls around, although based on my cycle we will only be 8DPO, so it will be a little too early to tell :)!

CD11 over here, and DH and I are getting ready to start our every-other-day schedule for this month. I've never ovulated before CD19, so I figure that we've got some time. Not sure how this cycle is going to work out, however - we're picking up our best friends from the airport on Monday, and they'll be staying with us for the next two weeks. Guess we'll just have to be really sneaky with BDing.

I'm CD16 and have been getting progressively darker OPKs the past 2 days so hoping I "O" soon! I didn't ovulate until CD35 last month so this would be AMAZING!

I'm at CD11 and am waiting to O - watching CM and using OPKs. Should be a positive any day now (usually around CD12 or 13)!

@redsmarties: maybe the sneak factor will spice things up! ha ha jk good luck!
@arielle9510: xrossing fingers for you!
@GreenThumb: good luck with your OPKS!
I am 11 dpo right now and feel really really run down, tired, drained. Also, yesterday and today I've had no appetite, and I usually always have to curb my diet coke obsession (I have cut back a lot!), and have had zero desire for any. These all may be coming-down-with-a-cold symptoms. I just want to go home and to bed right now., hmph!

@MRSLILYBUGG- Thank you! Still waiting to O but I'm still getting lines on my OPKs, just not a positive quite yet...oy.
Crossing my fingers for you!

Hi! I have been lurking but am excited to post that I got my first positive OPK yesterday on CD 9! This is our second cycle TTC. I am 36 & DH is 38 so I know this could take a while but that little smiley face made me happy!
