Not entirely sure where to put this, but here goes:
My 10.5 month old DD has JUST started refusing a bottle. Absolutely zero interest whatsoever. She took one happily from 6 weeks old until last week. Also, despite drinking well from a straw cup, she will NOT take breast milk from it. Apparently according to her, breast milk must now only come directly from the source!
The problem? She's still waking to nurse at least once a night. I've been dealing with night wakings her whole life alone, but I go back to work in 6 weeks, and I work about 40% night shifts. What is my DH supposed to do when she wakes up to nurse? And what is he supposed to do when he needs to give her breast milk first thing in the morning and before bed?
I'm hesitant to start cow's milk because we believe she has an intolerance, and I was really hoping to breastfeed as long as possible. What do we do???
