Not sure how this thread will go, but here it goes...
Would you use your sister's breast milk to feed to your baby, if you had trouble BFing or pumping and she had an oversupply?
I'm so thankful that my sister has an oversupply and was pregnant 7 months before I was so she was able to give her freezer stash to me. (My nephew only likes fresh stuff so it works out.) I'm sure some people will think it's gross but I think it's great. My sister eats better than I do and is a bit more cautious of what she puts into her body so I think the quality of her milk would probably be better than if I would have stuck with BFing or pumping.
I know people use donated breastmilk all the time so I know this isn't out of the norm. I was under the impression that donated breastmilk is used for a short time... like when they are in the nicu and not a long term solution. (Oh, also, probably because it's expensive to buy donated milk.) I'm glad my babies have access to it and are able to drink it.
