Today DS had his first half day at daycare. I can't believe that this time came already. Last night I balled.
Apparently he cried a lot but he ate good and he took a 1.5 hour nap. I struggle to get him to nap that well at home.
Tomorrow will be the true test as he goes for a full day and I return to work.

Aw, how old is your LO? Mine will be starting daycare in a week or two and I'm really nervous about the naps. He naps pretty well here, but usually not when we're away from home...
Anyway, huzzah for a good first day!!!

Wow that is great! Sometimes the first day is just as hard on the mom, but we all get through it somehow. I hope the rest of the week goes well!

This morning went pretty good and we even had a few minutes to play. I sure miss my baby and can't wait until the day is over.

@ALV91711: That's fantastic! Him napping for an hour and a half is also great for a first day! I got the same from my LO on his first day and I couldn't believe it!
Stay strong! Pretty soon, it will just become routine and he'll love his teachers

@ALV91711: I think he's at the age where separation anxiety starts, so the crying might not stop immediately!
And Xander LOVES daycare so much that he sobs hysterically when I pick him up in the evening! It's brutal!!

@ALV91711: Yeah, I'm glad to know he's happy during the day, but it definitely sucks picking him up and having him not excited to see me!
