my cousin's grandma (who pretty much had DS all night long) kept on reiterating to me that i should give DS formula along with my breast milk so that he doesn't fight the transition to cow's milk when he's older.
any truth to her advice? or just old school advice i should brush off?

Brush it off. LO BF'd for almost 15 months and switched nearly cold turkey without any issues.

My MIL told my husband this. I asked the pediatrician we just interviewed this question and she said no.

Brush it off. My grandmother thinks babies need cereal starting at 2 weeks.

Cray! Although my breastfed toddler laughs at milk as though I'm feeding her poison. Not sure formula would have helped that.
