ie not being a short order cook.

I feel like we started around a year with my first but my memory is shit.
Last night I made a full meal (which is rare for me) of things I thought everyone would like. Even my 1yo who is generally a good eater (see other thread I just created though).
He wouldn’t eat a thing. Except tomatoes from the salad. My husband wanted to give him something different but I said no. He felt DS2 he too young for that, but I really feel like right now is when he’s going to figure out that if he refuses his dinner he’ll get PB sandwich or fruit. He’s def starting to test us and rebel a little.

Not looking for general opinions on this “method”. Only when YOU started it if you do/did it.
