I just read this book. Before I started it, I didn't know that a focus of the book was pregnancy loss and infertility. It was a great book, and having had many losses, I found I could identify with one of the main characters, particularly at the end. Thought I would pass along the recommendation!

I read this a while back and really enjoyed it! I also didn't realize a characters story was fertility related until I was into reading the book. I could really identify with that character but honestly would probably have had a difficult time reading it had I been in a different place infertility-wise.
Another book by this author is being made into a tv series (Big Little Lies)...when I was reading What Alice Forgot I thought it would make for an interesting movie

@Caly: I read Big Little Lies first! And, apparently they ARE making it a movie. I haven't had infertility so I hope posting about this isn't insensitive. I also don't want to post any spoilers about the book so didn't want to give anything away with respect to that character.

How did you like Big Little Lies? I got a few chapters in and for some reason didn't get as into it as I have her other books. I'm wondering if I need to pick it up again, though. Especially since it's coming out as a series I'd like to try and watch. Oh, and posting about this was definitely not insensitive in the least! -
I just finished this one too and have been thinking that I wish I could remember who on this board recommended Liane Moriarty (I've also read Big Little Lies, Truly Madly Guilty, and The Husband's Secret in the last few weeks) so I could thank them because I really enjoyed it!
And yeah, Big Little Lies is going to be a miniseries, I think, with Reese Witherspoon for HBO.

@Caly: It took me a few chapters to get into BLL, but I loved it! I've read 3 of her books now - BLL, The Husband's Secret, and What Alice Forgot. I think I liked BLL the best!

What Alice Forgot is my favourite of her books!
@winniebee: I'm reading Truly Madly Guilty right now and like it but enjoyed the other ones more. I can't put it down though, like all of Liane Moriarty's books.

It's been downloaded on my kindle for a while so I'll bump it up as next in line!
Also, if anyone is generally a Liane Moriarty fan, I just saw that HBO is doing a limited series based on Big Little Lies! Just said 2017, no date yet. Lots of big names - Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Nicole Kidman. Loved that book!
