Sounds good to me. We also bring a lovey and portable white noise machine.

Our daycare provides sheets, so we only had to bring a blanket, extra clothes, diapers and wipes, and bottles. Once DD started eating solids, we started sending breakfast (if we were running late and couldn't feed her at home) and lunch.

Things we didn't *have* to bring, but we did and just leave in her cubby for when she needs them, are an extra sweater in case they think the room feels chilly or for spring/fall days when they went outside and an empty bottle in case they needed to use backup milk (this came in handy a couple times when she was extra hungry and once when her prepared bottle leaked everywhere). We also keep a few of her name label stickers there in case we forget to label something at home.
