Whenever I'm about to feed J or my husband hands her over to me to feed her we always say "It's time for boobies!" LOL. I noticed yesterday & this morning that she's mimicking me a lot more & when I take my top down to nurse she starts shaking her hands all excited & says "Boo boo bos!" My husband is convinced her next word will be "boobies!"

Haha, I was afraid this would happen to us in public, so starting around 4 months, we always referred to nursing as "time with mama" or just "time."

haha! we stopped nursing before he talked, but DH would say "boobie time!" before every feed, so I imagine he would have called them some derivative of boobie -.-

Num nums.
She smacks my chest incessanty and makes my boobs jiggle and shouts "num nums! Num nums" -

She's only 5.5 months. She said "mama" at 5 months...my husband was a super early talker so I guess she might be too.

C is a long way from talking (2.5 months) but considering Dh and I frequently call them, and me, milk bags, we may want to think about this!
My dad claims my little sisters first word was boob. My mom says she said mama and dads first but I'm not sure- and boob was definitely pretty close to first either way!

We just call it "milk". But, she hasn't quite gotten the "m" or "k" sounds in some words, so she says "nip". So she will yell "nip nip nip nip" which I think is sort of funny. She is asking for the nip, she just doesn't know that! ha

@Foodnerd81: my sister's first word was yabos, for this reason. Apparantly, that's what my parents must have called them back then ?!

She doesn't call them anything. She just looks at me and makes the sign for more. Haha.

Lorelei is a fan of declaring loudly that she loves nipples when we are in akward-making social situations. I feel good that I'm providing accurate terminology, but I do wish that she sounded a little less like a drunken and ocer-enthusiastic frat boy when she wants to nurse in front of other people. It sort of throws any other discretion out the window. I mean, you can't see much, but it is like a verbal neon sign saying "boobs over here!!!"
