I know there are blog posts (I'm going there next) but out of curiosity, what did you start with? LO loves purees but really just had the time of her life eating a mum mum.
she couldn't pick up banana when we tried, it kept slipping!

Following! LO loves purees too but I want her to start getting our food too.

Chunks of roasted sweet potatoes that DH and I were eating. And chunks of asparagus, but he mostly just sucked on those.
I read that bananas are easier for them to handle if you roll it in crushed cheerios dust.

any good BLW foods that help keep things..moving..for lack of better words? we have some constipation issues going on over here. just cleared up but man was it miserable..ugh. I think either sweet potatoes or pears caused it! I know, random, but those are the only things she ate during the episode (and 3x as many pears as sweet potatoes, strangely enough).

LO really doesn't feed herself (mostly just plays with it), but we do: yogurt, banana, kiwi, cottage cheese, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes,pasta...pretty much anything we are eating...
