Our LO has been exclusively fed breastmilk. At 6.5 months, I'm ready to introduce formula and start weaning. So far, we've had no food, gassiness, or digestion issues, so that's not a concern.
What brand/type would you recommend & why?

We used Gerber Good Start Gentle and/or Protect. Both worked fine for us.

We use Enfamil...LO has lots of gas/fussiness, so we use their Gentlease though. I'm sure the Infant would work fine for you since you mentioned your LO doesn't have any gas!

We use Earth's Best Organic because we wanted an organic formula that wasn't sucrose based.

We use enfamil gentlease.
Was recco'd by my doc and when we stopped bf'ing cold turkey (and got over bottle rejection!) the switch seemed to be no problem for her....!

We also use Enfamil Gentlease for Fussiness and Gas . . . I have never pumped enough to completely cover LO's daytime feedings, so I have supplemented since I returned to work at 12 weeks.

We used Similac Advance and had no issues.
We switched to Gerber Good Start Gentle because that is what they have at daycare and our pedi didn't want us switching back and forth when she was at home. She's had no issues with the new formula.
My ultimate preference is for the Similac, though, because the Gerber is really stinky.

Our doctor recommended Gerber Goodstart due to the protein breakdown, we used this before having to switch to Similac Allimentum for reflux issues.

Not organic, but another Gentlease baby here! We are actually using the generic (Walmart) brand now, as its $15 cheaper and exactly the same. She has had zero spit up & doesn't have any issues with fussiness or gas!

We're using Enfamil infant formula. My dude's a former gassy, colicky baby. The regular formula seems to be okay for him. My LO is self weaning right now, so the nursing sessions are less and less, so is the pumping.

We were using Similac advance and switched to the SAMs Club Sinply Right version-I like the container (handle for the scoop, leveler inside) and is less than half the cost of Similac and E likes it just fine and we have had no issues with it

we started with Enfamil Gentlease, but then switched to Target brand because it was so much cheaper

We have supplemented once for a week when I was going away and did Earths Best for the same reason @Mrs. Jacks: said.....
If/when we switch I plan on using it still... It's one of only 2 or 3 organic brands out there.

I would ask your doctor. They know your situation and baby best so they'd be able to recommend something good for you.
We ended up with Gerber Goodstart Gentle because LO had reflux, but we didn't want anything too thick because she was also constipated.

You may have to do some experimenting. Some formulas just make some babies not feel very good, while other babies are fine. There can also be different outcomes with powder and ready to feed, even in the same brand. Also, don't be afraid to go generic, they are all nutritionally the same. Good luck!

DD was EBF until 7 months and now gets 1 bottle of formula a day. We use Similac advanced and she drinks it without any issues.

enfamil gentlease. I find that enfamil gives more coupons than simalic
