My list is getting shorter and shorter!
Corn, Butternut squash and raw broccoli with raspberry dressing.

WJ's list dwindled to ZERO for a while! Now he will try pretty much anything, thank goodness. He's pretty good with broccoli, peas, cherry tomatoes. For some reason he hates corn (!!).
LMW loves ALL VEGETABLES!!!

@mrs. wagon: I totally miss those days when LO would eat all veggies!!!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
what doesn't he eat is the shorter list!!! he eats everything!!! literally, he's not a HUGE fan of green beans or peas, but he'll still eat it if we give it to him.
going to enjoy this before toddler years!
blogger / watermelon / 14218 posts
@autumnlove: I know... WJ used to be like that too... I'm totally savoring LMW's love for veggies because I know the day will come when she stops!! But from the other end... it CAN get better... I think there was a point where he hadn't eaten a single bite of veggie for A YEAR. oh my gosh.

both their favorite veggie is asparagus -- it's the only veggie they will eat consistently. they also like baby corn.
charlie likes broccoli and cucumbers, and olive will sometimes eat it.
olive will sometimes eat mushrooms, carrots, and sweet potatoes, which charlie refuses to touch.
they both used to like peas, but won't eat them anymore!

Broccoli, peas, edemame, green beans, corn, yams, asparagus and carrots. She does not like leafy greens, at all, so I usually hide those.
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
@locavore_mama: How do you hide? Smoothies? My LO is onto me and won't drink kale smoothies anymore!
grapefruit / 4582 posts
Broccoli, peas, carrots, mushrooms, sweet potato, butternut squash, edamame, peppers, and corn.
pomelo / 5298 posts
None @ home! She will occassionally eat fresh peas and lima beans but that's about it. I think she eats more at school. We offer pouches that are a fruit and vegetable mix to at least get some vegetables in.
We aren't great vegetable eaters as parents either which makes it even more challenging.

She loves pretty much everything except broccoli...she spits it out no matter what I do to it. But she loves other greens so I take it with a grain of salt!
squash / 13764 posts
Broccoli, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, corn, carrots, asparagus, zucchini (loooves zucchini). He doesn't love green beans or mushrooms.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
Uh oh. Currently, she eats all. I dread the day she starts being picky!!
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@autumnlove: usually smoothies, in eggs and quiche! Pasta sometimes works but mostly she will pick out the veggies and just eat the pasta. We also made pork & Spinach ravioli a few weeks ago!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
Anything in a soup (peas, carrots, celery, corn, tomato...)
Sauteed spinach is his favorite food!
Otherwise, green beans, mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, occasionally zucchini and corn.
honeydew / 7917 posts
I'm lucky and LO will eat almost any veggie I present to him. He might just take a bite or two but never dismisses it entirely. His current favorites are okra, carrots, mushrooms, beets, squash, sweet potatoes, eggplant, corn, and peas.

I miss the days when she loved all veggies!
The only veggies she really eats lately are broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers/pickles, corn (loves corn on the cob), zucchini, and sometimes she'll have romaine lettuce if we're having Caesar salad.
ETA: she will also eat seaweed...like rice wrapped in nori and miyuk guk (Korean seaweed soup)...does that count as a veggie?
honeydew / 7488 posts
My kids are pretty much willing to eat any vegetable.. but it depends on how it's prepared. E.g. they will eat kale sauteed with bacon, but would never touch a kale salad. My DD used to turn her nose up at pretty much any veggie except corn, but now she's at the age where she will eat whatever we ask her to, unless it's spicy. I was so relieved when that day finally arrived since it was a long time coming.

Peas & broccoli are the only veggies she'll eat consistently. Corn, asparagus, cauliflower, and carrots are hit or miss. Usually miss -.-

Well the baby is a baby and will eat anything so she doesn't count.
The 3 year old loves leafy greens. Simmer in some broth and soy sauce!

@Andrea: damn it! I want my child to like Asian veggies!
GOLD / wonderful coffee bean / 18478 posts
@locavore_mama: lol. She definitely has Asian taste buds!
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
@Andrea: My mom would be jealous! Leafy greens?
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@Andrea: @autumnlove: LOL It's funny. She LOVES rice. Loves. She loves Chinese food. When my mom was here she ate SO well. But just no leafy greens!
nectarine / 2886 posts
My lo goes through phases but right now it's sweet potato, corn, peas, and carrots. She used to love broccoli and squash but these days won't touch them. Never liked cauliflower, green beans, ir asparagus.

G's list is pretty limited (with all food in general) but P will chomp on anything I give her!
blogger / eggplant / 11551 posts
she used to love all veggies, then went to zero! now she's starting to explore new foods again. oh toddlerhood!
she will eat sweet potatos, green beans, carrots, and broccoli again now... let's hope it continues to grow!
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
carrots, onions, potatoes, broccoli, corn, peas, sweet potatoes
coconut / 8299 posts
My son won't eat anything green. So I hide those in his green smoothies. He'll eat potatoes, yams, squash, corn, onions if they're minced, steamed carrots, green onions. My DD eats anything cuz she's 14 months. I'm sure she will go through a picky stage too! UGH.
bananas / 9227 posts
DD loves veggies. Her faves are broccoli and corn, she can have a whole plate full. My problem is getting her to eat protein!
squash / 13199 posts
green beans
bell peppers
carrots
peas
corn
brocolli
mushrooms (if that counts as a veggie)
hostess / eggplant / 11068 posts
She'll eat anything I put in front of her. If it's something new she will say no and push it away but when she sees other people eating it she'll at least try it and more often than not, love it.
She isn't a fan of mushrooms, though.
@autumnlove: And she eats RAW broccoli??? That's amazing!
