Mine is strongly opposed to bananas and now raspberries. Like, won't let them touch his lips. Weirdo. He'll gobble up mushrooms like a champ, but bananas make him cry. LOL

Yogurt. Will not touch it and gets the most pained look on her face if some accidentally touches her lips.
Cheese, any type of berries. Not a fan.
Weirdo.

My daughter hates hates hates yogurt. Like, if it accidentally gets in her mouth she wipes her tongue off. My son hates carrots and apples, which is not that weird I guess,

All of them...? She won't eat spaghetti, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, rice, chicken, meat, non-pureed bananas, pizza... I could go on and on.

Cheese (not melted) and any all meat/protein. She spits out beef, chicken, pork, tuna, kidney beans, salmon no matter how hard I try to disguise it...sigh....

Pasta! Who doesn't like pasta??? His father, who is italian, is horrified lol

Pretty much anything besides oatmeal, cheese, deli turkey, bananas and a few veggies..
He used to eat such a variety and now won't even try new foods and only wants a few specific foods. So frustrating!

No LO here, but when I was little I refused ALL fruit, most veggies, all nuts (including peanut butter, etc), and some other things. Unfortunately, this hasn't changed much. I have a feeling it was very trying for my parents.

@Jenn23: Yeah this is us right now. He used to eat anything. Now he only wants a few things.... Grrr...

@travellingbee: How old is your LO? My son is 18 months. I'm beyond frustrated with mealtimes now. I dread all three meals a day now. He now just throws it on the floor, or screams or whines for something else. I have no idea what to do. I've just started taking him out of his highchair and putting him in the family room, then putting him back in the chair after about 5-10 minutes to see if he'll eat what is in front of him. Doesn't work.

all fruit (except bananas, he likes bananas), mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, red sauce, salad, most veggies if they're not on pizza or in rice.
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
lettuce, pouches (she smacks them out of my hand while yelling baby...I guess they are baby food to her), bananas are hit and miss right now, used to be her favorite, now don't even think about offering them, & oatmeal.

@Jenn23: 13 months. But he is a bit early in his independent streak. The doctor was surprised that he already throws fits. Lucky me.
He is so hit or miss though. One day he loves macaroni and cheese and the next day he throws in on the ground angrily. Yesterday he wouldn't eat anything but fruit for lunch and today he ate: cauliflower, leftover pasta with tomato sauce, cheese, tomatoes, peaches, grapes, and peanut butter and jelly. LOL Yes, all of that.

It totally depends on the day, it feels like. But consistently, he throws a fit for spinach. Although I just got him to eat some of these spinach nuggets, so at least I can get it in him now.

@travellingbee: That's an awesome lunch! (Not the fruit one) haha My son will eat quite a bit at most meals, but it is always the same exact things. Today at lunch I tried meatballs and he threw them all on the floor. Can't get him to eat any meat besides deli turkey and sometimes chicken. So frustrating! I keep offering new things or trying old ones, but he won't budge.

Pasta, pizza, any type of white potato including French fries, any meat, eggs, most veggies unless in pouch form. He acts like you're trying to hurt him if you even offer any of that!

My DD does not like bananas and oranges but likes spinach and peas. I hope this changes soon. Those are such easy healthy snacks to take along for outings.

@littlebug: I started pureeing and freezing spinach cubes! I mix one in with his yogurt or scramble with his eggs in the morning. Works like a charm!
pomegranate / 3983 posts
Older one won't eat potatoes. Younger one won't touch chicken (I don't blame him).
