The only time I pumped and dumped was because I was on Cipro for a week.

I never did it. I always followed the driving rule and was fine. Then, when DD started sleeping long stretches, I went crazy and had two glasses of wine.

Don't do it. That's my rule I work hard for every drop of milk. I don't dump any!

I pumped and dumped for 3 days once when I accidentally ate dairy. But my LO has MSPI and I had a good freezer stash at the time. I just wanted most of the dairy to be out if my system before I gave her my bf again.

I don't pump and dump for alcohol, but that's because I EP, so I Can plan the appropriate amount of time between drinking and pumping milk for LO.

Pumped last night at 9 pm.... Had two drinks and pumped again this morning at 8! Plenty if time for the alcohol to metabolize.

I did for a medication I was on. I couldn't BF for six hours after taking it, so I would take it right before her bedtime and gave her a bottle from my freezer stash, then pumped after she went to sleep. It was tough pouring six ounces down the drain.

Only did it once when we celebrated our anniversary and stayed over night in a hotel...let's just say we enjoyed our wine that evening. I pumped and dumped before bed and the next morning...I also had over supply at the time so I didn't feel bad about it.

I would follow the "if you can drive" rule but I haven't really drank since.

I usually follow the driving rule, and I've never had to dump for that. I did have to pump and dump for 24 hours after an ER visit until the drugs left my system.

Never done it - I don't have more than one drink at a time, and my medications are nursing safe.

I never pumped and dumped. Wasn't taking any medications and when I drank I only had a glass and waited two hours--which means I didn't drink that much!

I drank an entire 24 oz Monster drink, and there was NO way that was going into my child. Down the drain it went!

I would never pump & dump. If I had too much to drink I would just dilute the breastmilk with "clean" milk.

Haven't. I drink caffeine, but don't think enough to dump. I rarely drink alcohol so I'm good there.

pumped and dumped only because I was only a very strong antibiotic for a week. After that never did it. I always drink after pumping so by the time its time to feed/pump it should be out of my system.
