I'm trying to figure out what size nursing bras to order. I was a 32B (really a large A) pre-preg and have been a 34C (large C) in pregnancy. I'm almost 32 wks and on bedrest so can't go shopping for them...and since I'm likely to deliver early, need to order a few now!

I was a 34B pre-pregnancy, but I've been wearing 36Cs most of the pregnancy until today... 36D! D! A friend of mine who recently had a baby had the same chest growth as me, and she said there were days of early breastfeeding and engorgement that she probably could have worn an E. Crazy.

check at your hospital with the lactation consultant. I know that our hospital (in kind of a smallish city compared to larger ones like Dallas, etc) has a store with nursing bras. the lactation consultant that I met with at a breastfeeding class suggested just coming down on your way out of the hospital and trying on some bras. She would even bring them up to people and let them try them on.

I just got nursing tanks that came in S, M, L, XL sizes to start with so it didn't matter if I got the fit exactly right. The fit is so important that I didn't want to spend money on something until I knew what size I would really be.
I'm actually still making due with 3 nursing tanks and haven't made it to get actual bras, though it's on the agenda. I've got 2 tanks from Target and one from Glamour Mom.
